My content (words and photos) is positive, not because I’m a delicate princess and I’ve never collided with ugly things. No, quite the opposite. And I’m fed up with them. I am aware that the internet promotes drastic and shocking info, and we have way too much of it on Earth.
By promoting and posting aggression under the statement that we do not like it, by resending chain messages – we become a part of it.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being anyone’s pawn in the game.
I studied journalism and I know from experience how it works. It’s more or less like this, you get 2 dry sentences of facts and you have to make some story about it. Shocking is what draws the public’s attention and sells the best.
When a controversial act is to pass in politics (f.eks. allowing GMO food) – the attention is drawn to something else – the slogans that cause a stir in society. Then people protest, it’s loud, and politicians do their work without the inconvenient publicity.
Although this is not an easy task, even if I deal with difficult subjects, I will try to emphasize what is good and how good it might look.
Complaining is a very easy, everyone can do it, but it does not bring better results.
If you don’t like something, just take away its only power – your attention.
